
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), commonly known as IP University, has officially released its admission brochures for the academic session 2026-27, marking the commencement of the admission process for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and PhD programmes. The brochures were launched on January 28, 2026, during a formal event at the India International Centre in New Delhi.
The university has introduced 24 new courses this year, aligning with emerging industry demands in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, data science, management, healthcare, and inclusive education. These additions are expected to enhance academic diversity and provide students with cutting-edge skill sets relevant to modern career landscapes.

- Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
- Lateral Entry in B.S. (Packaging Technology)
- M.Tech in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
- M.A. Mass Communication (Weekend Programme)
- Additional weekend programmes in select disciplines
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (at University School of Studies)
- B.Tech in Industrial Chemistry
- B.Sc. Clinical Psychology
- B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science)
- B.Tech in Computer Science and Business Systems
- Programmes in Teacher Education and Inclusive Education, including B.A. B.Ed. (Special and Inclusive Education – ISITEP) with various specialisations
- A three-year LLB programme (as noted in select reports)
The university has also granted affiliation to nine additional government and private institutions, further expanding access to quality higher education in the region. With these developments, GGSIPU now offers over 230 academic programmes across diverse fields, including engineering, technology, management, law, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and design.
Admissions to most programmes will be based on university-level entrance exams such as the IPU Common Entrance Test (CET), national-level tests like CUET or CLAT (for specific courses), or merit-based criteria. The online application process is scheduled to begin on February 2, 2026.
