SSC MTS City Intimation Slip 2025 issued at ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the City Intimation Slip for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025 on its official website, ssc.gov.in. This important update was made available to candidates on January 30, 2026, allowing aspirants to check their allotted examination city, tentative date, and shift details in advance of the upcoming computer-based test (CBT).

The SSC MTS and Havaldar recruitment drive aims to fill a substantial number of Group C positions across various central government ministries, departments, and offices. The examination seeks to recruit candidates for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) roles and Havaldar positions in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). Reports indicate a total of approximately 7,948 to 7,984 vacancies, including around 6,810 for MTS and over 1,100 for Havaldar posts, making it one of the largest recruitment exercises in this category.

Key Examination Details

The Tier-I Computer-Based Examination is scheduled to commence from February 4, 2026, onwards. Candidates had the opportunity to select their preferred exam slots during the self-slotting window, which was open from January 15/16 to January 25, 2026. Following the completion of this process, the Commission issued the city intimation slips to provide advance information.

Important to note: The city intimation slip is not the final admit card (also known as the hall ticket or admission certificate). It serves primarily as a preliminary notification detailing the examination city, date, and shift. The official admit card is expected to be released region-wise starting from February 1, 2026, approximately 2–4 days before each candidate’s scheduled exam date. Candidates must download and carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination center.
